This painting is of a young woman, with a crown of flowers, all dressed up for the occasion.

The vivid daisies she is wearing, the light and shadow I’ve added to her crown, face, neck, clothes, hair and the flowers all add to the unparalleled beauty of this composition.

The baby breath in the crown of flowers adds a touch of variety as well.

I have a deep respect for budding, young womanhood which is what inspired me to paint this masterpiece.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint.
